Christian Horner is a long-standing team principal of the Red Bull Formula One team, having been their boss since 2005. The Brit is also a former racing driver, known for his time at Formula 3000 during the late 1990s. Born on the 16th of November, 1973 at Leamington Spa, Warwickshire in England, Horner was educated at Arnold Lodge School and Warwick School. He is married to Spice Girls member Geri Halliwell.
When did Christian Horner join Formula 1?
Christian Horner, after gaining a multitude of experiences during his time at F3000, was appointed the head of Red Bull in January 2005 – also the youngest team principal at that time. Since then, there has been no looking back for the Brit, having led Red Bull to 11 world titles (5 constructors’ and 6 drivers’).
