Max Verstappen keeping ‘all options open’ including F1 exit despite Red Bull contract
Max Verstappen hinted that his future plans did not focus solely on Formula 1 despite having a long-term Red Bull deal.

Max Verstappen has raced for Red Bull Racing since 2016. During this period, the Dutch driver has accumulated considerable success. Now, the 27-year-old has revealed that he has kept his options open for his future.
The four-time world champion’s current Red Bull contract extends till the end of 2028. However, Max Verstappen accepted that he has held conversations with Aston Martin, Ferrari and Mercedes in the past. Though, he pointed out that such chats don’t always revolve around Formula 1.
Moreover, Verstappen highlighted that even Red Bull does various projects outside of F1. The Dutch driver claimed that he was keeping all his options open, potentially hinting at even leaving the sport in the future. Ultimately, Max Verstappen will pick the ‘best’ option once he decides he has done enough in the pinnacle of motorsport.
Max Verstappen reveals his goals beyond F1
The four-time world champion has always been interested in other motorsport activities, including sim racing. Max Verstappen emphasized that he has goals for the world of endurance racing and even running his own team. The Dutch driver hinted that he would formulate a program in the near future for such plans.
Certainly, verstappen will not be racing in F1 in his 40s. The Red Bull driver has high ambitions in and outside of the sport. Though, for now, fans can enjoy seeing the 27-year-old dominate the grid for at least the next couple of seasons.
