Max Verstappen has been in a longstanding relationship with girlfriend Kelly Piquet for a good few years now. The endearing couple recently announced Piquet’s pregnancy. However, Verstappen remains reluctant to have his kid become an F1 driver.

During the Talking Bull Podcast, the Dutch driver was asked if Christian Horner would already be preparing a contract for his child. Max Verstappen highlighted that first he’ll need to have a chat with the kid when they are born.

Moreover, Verstappen revealed that he doesn’t want his child to follow his footsteps as a racing driver. Rather, the four-time world champion hoped that they can try alternate avenues including designing cars. Perhaps, the 27-year-old wants his kid to become the next Adrian Newey.

The entire team celebrated the victory with the famous Max Verstappen song with the lyrics, “Dududu Max Verstappen.” Though, the 27-year-old made it clear this was not his favorite chant. Certainly, 2024 was a challenging yet exciting year for the four-time world champion. Verstappen would now be looking to enjoy during the winter break before aiming to come back stronger next season. The Dutch driver would be looking to safeguard his place as the favorite for the 2025 title.
