At the 2024 PNC Championship, golf great Tiger Woods marked his returned after a few months of absence following a back surgery. During this event, the 15-time major champion was caught dropping an F-bomb at a multiple time PGA Tour champion.
In the PNC Championship, golfers team up with family to take part in this two-round event. Woods teamed up with his son Charlie for the fifth time to take part in this event. Last year the duo tied for 5th spot after finishing 19-under.
At the tournament, Woods ran into some familiar faces. One of them was his good friend Steve Stricker, who was pairing up with his daughter Izzi Stricker for the event.
The two golfers have spent a lot of time together on the course while teaming up at the Ryder Cup and the Presidents Cup. One of their most notable performances came at the 2009 President’s Cup where they duo went 4-0.
In a video shared by the PGA Tour, Woods can be seen greeting Stricker daughter before making his way through his friend. As Woods came closer, the Stricker would call him an “old man“. This led to the 48-year-old hilariously dropping an f-bomb against him before sharing a warm embrace with him.

The two golfers were later seen chatting with each other as Stricker showed off some of his shots. At the end of the video, he seemingly forgot about his phone. Woods would remind him about this and hand it back to him.
Speaking of the event, Woods and his son came up short in the playoff hole against Bernhard Langer and his son Jason. As for Team Stricker, they finished in seventh position after firing a score 21-under of 123 for the tournament.
Tiger Woods comments on his health after playing at PNC Championship
Earlier this month, Tiger Woods snubbed the Hero World Challenge and decided to watch it from the sidelines. In the press conference of this tournament, he claimed he was not tournament sharp yet. At the PNC Championship, he walked all 36 holes and hit some great shots. After the event he commented on his health.
At the press conference after the round, the 82-time PGA Tour winner was asked on how he felt playing two rounds after not doing it for a long time. Woods just claimed that he is training every day and is doing little things to keep making progress for the next year.
🚨Post round we got nothing new in his media session (no surprise). Here’s his answer when asked if he can start gearing up for the season:

“We'll see. I don't like this cold right now; I can tell you that. But hey, it's training, each and every day, doing the little things and…
Woods is currently set to take part in the TGL league along with his teammates Max Homa, Tom Kim and Kevin Kisner while representing the Jupiter Links GC. The inaugural season of this tech-infused league which is co-owned by him and Rory McIlroy, will kick off in January 2025.
