On Sunday, Tiger Woods seemed to be on track for another win. He and his son Charlie Woods, went toe-to-toe against Team Langer at the PNC Championship and fell just short in the playoff hole. After the event, Woods was spotted hugging his former wife Elin Nordegren.

Nordegren was reported to be in the clubhouse backstage as her son Charlie and daughter Sam Woods spent the afternoon with their father. As per reports, she was in the clubhouse when her son recorded his first career ace.

Following that ace, she would come out and watch the action from the sidelines. After the event, she would share a heartfelt moment with her former husband as they finished as runner-ups. Check out a short clip of their embrace from X below:

Woods and Nordegren began dating in 2003 and got married a year later in 2004. However, in 2009, his personal life fell off as reports of extra-martial affairs came up. In 2010, the couple divorced each other and brought an end to a six-year marriage.

Since then, Woods has had several high-profile relationships. As for Nordegren, she has had three children with former NFL tight end Jordan Cameron.

Despite that, the two of them have come together on several occasions to support their children. Earlier this year, they would reunite with each other to celebrate their son’s golf accomplishments. The youngster’s high school had won the state championship.

Tiger Woods ‘thrilled’ to participate with son Charlie at the PNC Championship

The 2024 season was once again plagued with injuries for Tiger Woods. After missing a majority of the 2023 season, the 15-time major champion was again seen dealing with health issues. In August this year, he underwent another back surgery. The PNC Championship marked his return to the golf course. Despite falling short, the golfer was ‘thrilled’ to spend time with his son Charlie Woods and daughter Sam Woods.

This was the fifth time Woods had teamed up with his son for this tournament. As for Sam, she returned to caddie for him again, first doing so last year. Speaking after the round, the 48-year-old expressed how this tournament was perfect for bonding with families.

That was the thrill of a lifetime to be able to have that moment with Charlie, make his first hole-in-one, Sam on the bag, just our family and friends. That’s what this event is about. It’s about bonding and family.

Woods will now turn his attention to the TGL. The tech-infused league will kick off in January 2025. The golf great is part of this event and will represent the Jupiter Links GC in the inaugural season along with Max Homa, Tom Kim, and Kevin Kisner.
