Hendrick Motorsports’ Kyle Larson is one of the most dominant drivers in the motorsport’s scene and in infamous for racing without a break. His last race of 2024 was a High Limit Racing series event at Australia’s Perth Motorplex. In his fourth ever race at the track, he marked his maiden win in the country over 37 other best racers.

Kyle Larson won the $100,000 event, ending his season on a high note and he is over the moon over the triumph. Talking about his victory following win, he shared his relief and admitted that it feels really good to earn the triumph. He added that winning over the top racers in Australia, starting P6 in the race was special for him.

Finally, huh? … Four trips is not that many races but feels good to get a win and have to earn it, too, from starting sixth to passing the guy that’s been the most dominant driver here in Australia this week and for a long time.

Further talking about the point, he credited his car built by Jason Pryde Motorsport. He pointed out he was able to take advantage of the car to overtake the leader and after that he didn’t have to look back.

I knew I had a great car but just was able to get fresh air on my wing and grab the moisture and get clear to second and just kind of pace through there.

Kyle Lason claims every lap has something different at Perth

In the same interview, Larson shared his feelings about how fun the race was and pointed out that every lap was something different. Having multiple racing lines throughout the race helped him to have an impressive race.

That was a fun race. The track was changing so much — every lap it was something different. You could create different lines and just had to chase it. James was searching in front of me, I’m searching for lanes that I can build speed and a rhythm. Just an awesome track.

The comments from the future Hall of Famer shows how much he cherishes every moment of and seems determined to use the momentum on his side to thrive next season. It would be interesting to see how the racing season is going to playout for him in 2025.
