The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson is one of the most highly regarded drivers in the motorsport’s scene over his versatility and consistency in different racing series. His most recent racing venture was the High Limit Racing series at Perth Motorplex, where 38 of the best Sprint car racers went head-to-head for $100,000.

Kyle Larson won the race in style, marking his maiden victory at Australia. But his success wasn’t a major surprise as even the reigning Maddington Toyota Sprint car Series champion Dayne Kingshott was expecting a masterclass from Hendrick Motorsports’ NASCAR driver. Larson winning races against Sprint legend and brother-in-law Brad Sweet, makes his achievements more significant.

Winning any race is a monumental achievement, but triumphing over Brad, who is undeniably skilled, is particularly significant.

Dayne Kingshott said at Perth.

Further talking about the point, he pointed out that Kyle Larson has been the most consistent driver in the Sprint car scene over the last five to six years. Kingshott pointed out that despite not being running all the Sprint events, the No:5 Chevy NASCAR driver makes him the fastest guy in the whole world.

He has been the most consistent guy in a sprint car for the last five or six years. Kyle, even though he doesn’t run sprints full-time, he’s the fastest guy in the world in a sprint car—then there are all of his other accomplishments in a lot of different divisions.

Dayne Kingshott gives his verdict on the level on Australian Sprint car racing

One of the major conversations ahead of the race was the US racers vs Australian racers rivalry and Kingshott shared his views on how much his countryman has grown. He pointed out that in the 80s and 90s. the Australian sprint car scene was a low level compared to USA, but now they are in a similar level.

In the ‘90s and ‘80s the Americans were on a completely different level—it wasn’t even close. Over the years, the Australians got their equipment closer to the U.S. Now, they’re competing more than they ever did. Honestly, the level here in Australia is just as high as it is in America. And it’s easier for Australians to make the move.

Dayne Kingshott said.

The comments from the champion driver shows how much the Australin sprint car races and the drivers have developed over the years. The development and the internationalization of Sprint car is great for the overall growth of the sport.
