It was likely a reference to the intense speculation surrounding his future at Liverpool.
Recent reports suggest that Alexander-Arnold has informed the club that he wishes to leave. However, firing back at all such rumors, manager Arne Slot commented upon the right-back’s celebration during the match.
The Dutchman suggested that defender’s gesture had answered all questions, as he indicated that it might be an hint that the player wants to stay back at Anfield.
