Trackhouse Racing entered the NASCAR Cup series in 2021 alongside 23XI Racing and since been one of the best teams in the top-tier. One of the most significant steps Trackhouse took in their path to becoming a championship contender was acquiring Chipp Ganassi Racing and their charters head of the 2022 season.

They started fielding three cans from that season, also signed the then CGR racer Ross Chastain as their driver, which turned out to be another great investment. In a recent interview Justin Marks the team’s co-owner, alongside Pitbull, revealed that they bought CGR, after multiple failed attempts to buy other charters with this being their last shot at getting creative.

Further talking about the same point, he asserted that he got himself into a situation where he was willing to do everything to expand the team. Now with three cars and a star line-up, his determination has paid of for Trackhouse.
