The Denver Nuggets most recently defeated the Detroit Pistons 134-121 on Saturday night. Nuggets stars Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray were on fire for their side. They dropped top performances on the home court. However, it was Russell Westbrook, who stole all the headlines for his heated argument with Pistons star Isaiah Stewart.

During the game, Westbrook can be spotted having a swipe at Stewart at different times of attack and defensive plays. In a video posted on X, Westbrook went to the extent of calling Stewart a ‘dumba**’, which did not go down well with the Pistons star. That said, Westbrook is known to taunt his opponents on the court.

In the video making rounds on the internet, Russell Westbrook said, “Dumba**, dumba**!” to which Isaiah Stewart responded, “I’ll beat the f*ck out of you” Russell Westbrook once again said, “Come on… I want all that!”

As for the game, Murray scored 34 points, while Jokic had 37 points. The Nuggets, led by Michael Porter Jr. with 26 points, went on an 18–4 run to grab the lead at halftime. They then jumped out to a 25-point lead going into the fourth quarter. Murray recorded his first 30-point performance of the season with 12 points in the last 2:27 of the quarter.

As for the Pistons, their road trip came to a difficult conclusion, but the four-game set is impossible to be dissatisfied with. The Pistons began the tour with a win over the Phoenix Suns. Then, they defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Sacramento Kings before losing to a driven Denver Nuggets squad. All eyes will be on the Pistons’ next matches in the NBA.

Russell Westbrook got under the skin of the Detroit Pistons’ stars during his recent matchup on home court. He trash-talked Isaiah Stewart and had a solid game in his side’s win that took them to 17-13 in the NBA. Regarding Westbrook, his teammate Jamal Murray offered an exciting insight during the post-match press conference.
