The team has also been down since last winning a game on November 23 against the San Jose Sharks. Ruff said that their puck decisions weren’t on point which lifted their opponents in the race.

I’m almost lost for words, obviously. It’s on me to solve this. This is the toughest solve I’ve been around, but it’s on me to get these guys in the right place to win a hockey game. And nobody else, just me.

The Buffalo Sabres losing streak started on November 27 with their 1-0 loss against the Minnesota Wild at home. Currently, they run a score of 0-7-3 with 23 scored goals and 38 allowed goals.

Winger Jack Quinn talked about how this loss “stings” compared to the other nine. They were ahead of the Leafs by a 3-1 advantage but ended up losing it on a 5-3 loss.

One X user commented, “Their roster is loaded with talent who’s else f*cking fault would it be.” While another said, “Not his fault they’ve missed the playoffs since his last stint!” Check more fan reactions below:

During times like these, it is important for a team to work together, however, it is simultaneously tough to remain positive. The Sabres will try to end this slump in their next game against the Montreal Canadiens at Bell Centre on Tuesday.
