Max Verstappen kept up with impressive performances in the 2024 season despite Red Bull’s struggling pace. The 27-year-old has won four consecutive world championships and showcased his superior race craft against his rivals. A majority of the people still believe Verstappen can put forth even better results in the coming season. However, Jos Verstappen raised uncertainty on the possibility of this.

Max Verstappen joined the likes of some highly achieved individuals in Formula 1 after winning his fourth drivers’ title. Verstappen still has many years left in the sport as he could showcase improvement down the line. Jos Verstappen believed that there were still chances of improvement for the 27-year-old. However, Verstappen Sr. reckoned that his son was in his best form and raised uncertainty over the latter further improving.

Well, you would say, isn’t it. I mean, he’s definitely on his best [form]. And I don’t know if there’s more in it or not. I have no idea.

Verstappen stepped up when necessary and put forth some great results for the team. Verstappen Sr. believed the 27-year-old was present for the team during crucial moments. The 52-year-old highlighted that the Red Bull star was ‘strong’ in those moments which was of utmost importance.

Max Verstappen and Lando Norris clashed heads multiple times with each other during races which upset the fans of both drivers. However, Norris was taking the hit particularly worse than Verstappen due to the latter’s superior pace. The Dutchman clarified that Formula 1 was not a kindergarten and moments were tough sometimes. The media also showcased unnecessary problems between the two drivers that weren’t as serious.

But it’s not kindergarten out there and things get tough sometimes. The media always showed that we had problems with each other that we never had.

The 2025 season will showcase multiple changes to the teams on the grid. Red Bull is already undergoing massive personnel change as they move on from a difficult season. Milton Keynes will need to deem a better start to the upcoming season in order to stay in contention for the championship down the line.
