The ‘Notorious‘ Conor McGregor has been one of the most successful and popular personalities in the MMA world. However, following a recent legal issue, the Irish fighter is experiencing significant backlash from the public. Additionally, even some of his former rivals, particularly Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, have taken the opportunity to mock McGregor.
Interestingly, much like Conor McGregor, Ali Abdelaziz often uses social media to criticize his rivals. Recently, UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili was targeted in one of these rants. Following McGregor’s recent civil case verdict, a wave of criticism came his way. Among those condemning him was Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager, who also took a shot at the Irishman.
A few months ago, Khabib Nurmagomedov faced a tax-related issue, resulting in his bank accounts being affected. Consequently, Nurmagomedov had to sell a portion of his assets and properties. Interestingly, when McGregor learned about this situation, he seemingly mocked his former rival. The Irishman even made bids to purchase Nurmagomedov’s childhood home.
@TheNotoriousMMA I heard you leave Ireland because your court do you wanna sell your house?

Months later, when McGregor was involved in a controversial incident, Team Khabib did not shy away from reacting to the situation. The reigning UFC lightweight champion, Islam Makhachev, took brutal digs at the Irishman, while Nurmagomedov and Abdelaziz made sly remarks about McGregor’s legal troubles. These comments further intensified the rivalry between McGregor and the Dagestani fighters.
Javier Mendez is more inclined towards Conor McGregor vs. Jake Paul
Javier Mendez is one of the standout MMA coaches in the community. The likes of Khabib Nurmagomedov and Daniel Cormier are some of the fighters that trained under him. Recently, Mendez delved into the buzzing news about Conor McGregor’s potential boxing bout against Logan Paul in the upcoming year.
Interestingly, unlike his brother Jake Paul, Logan is not solely a boxer. He is a WWE superstar, which has led coach Mendez to raise some questions about the boxing match against McGregor. In fact, the founder of AKA seems to find a potential matchup between the Irishman and Jake to be much more interesting.
Amid the confusion surrounding who McGregor might face next, the Irish fighter recently provided an indirect confirmation. In response to a post on his social media, the UFC superstar appeared to confirm that he will be facing Logan in his next boxing match. Now, it will be interesting to see how this matchup unfolds, with the proposed venue being India.
