Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr. was snapped alongside WNBA star Angel Reese and several other basketball players, on his recent trip to the US. Pictures of Vini with Reese and former Denver Nuggets player Carmelo Anthony went viral on social media. 

Vinicius Jr. is enjoying the Christmas break, and is currently on a vacation to the United States. The 24-year-old comes off a spectacular FIFA Men’s Player of the Year award win. While the Spanish league is on a hiatus, the Brazilian winger shared images from his visit to Florida. At an event in Miami, the 24-year-old met-up with WNBA sensation and Chicago Sky forward, Angel Reese. Apart from her, Vinicius Jr. also shared pictures of his link-up with pop icon Rihanna. This was during his trip to New York.

Coming back to Angel Reese, the 22-year-old rookie has garnered a lot of attention with her skills and looks. She was named a WNBA All-Star at a very young age, and also shattered the league’s record for the most rebounds in a single season.

Pictures of the two sports personalities caught social media by fire. The Real Madrid star donned his new look in an all-black attire. Vinicius Jr. also shared pictures of his interaction with NBA legend Carmelo Anthony and San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama

Meanwhile, Angel Reese is now set to return to action after the winter break. She will participate in the inaugural season of the Unrivaled, a new 3v3 basketball league. Vinicius Jr., on the other hand, will be a part of the Real Madrid line-up for their next La Liga encounter against Valencia.

Seven weeks after missing out on the Ballon d’Or, Vini came first at the FIFA Best awards. Following his win, the Brazilian forward shared a message on social media. He highlighted the difficult journey he had to trail in order to become the best player, while adding that his ‘time’ has come. Adding on, he hit out at critics for trying to invalidate him, exclaiming that they had failed in their attempts. 

Moreover, the 24-year-old extended his gratitude towards his family teammates and fans for their support. It remains to be seen what lies ahead for the forward, who aims to work harder ‘ten times more’, in order to win the Ballon d’Or in the future.
