Antetokounmpo’s brother Thanasis Antetokounmpo was left pumped after witnessing the massive dunk. The Bucks have recovered to a 13-11 record after beginning the season with a 1-6 record, and Antetokounmpo has undoubtedly been at the heart of it all. Now, they make their way to an important semi-final matchup.
The Milwaukee Bucks won 114-109 thanks to 37 points and 7 rebounds from Giannis Antetokounmpo. Teammate Bobby Portis contributed 22 points and 10 rebounds off the bench, while another teammate Damian Lillard finished with 28 points.
Up next for the Bucks is the NBA Cup semi-final matchup on December 24, with their opponent yet to be confirmed.
Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley are not a big fan of the Bucks this season
The Milwaukee Bucks have endured a tough 2024-25 NBA campaign as of yet. They have not been performing up to the standards that their fans expect from the side.
Despite having the likes of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, the Bucks have failed to make an impact this season. NBA legends Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley discussed the Bucks before their quarter-finals matchup against the Orlando Magic.
The Bucks are not trusted by the national media, as demonstrated by Tuesday’s panel debate. O’Neal and Barkley stated that even with Giannis Antetokounmpo playing at his best, the team will not be able to defeat Eastern Conference opponents in the playoffs.

His fellow panelist, Barkley, also chimed in on this topic, stating that the Bucks won’t be able to defeat top teams like the Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, and even a healthy Magic side.
However, the Bucks did beat the Magic most recently in the NBA quarter-finals. This has given their fans a glimmer of hope of achieving some success this season.
