The comments section of the post was spammed with users expressing disbelief. A majority of them concerned with her income compared it that of several NBA stars. Jayson Tatum, a recurring name in the league, made $35 million this season meanwhile Anthony Edwards stood at around $42 million.

The users were absolutely shocked to see the Only Fans content creator made almost as much as the NBA GOAT LeBron James who made $48 million.

While it remained uncertain how legitimate the stated amount was, the platform does gain viral attention. A couple of months back, the company announced that creator payments in 2023 went up to $6.63 billion. The number of users also increased by 29 percent from 2022 to 2023, with more than 4.12 million creators active.

Olympic athletes turning to OnlyFans, IOC takes the heat

The Olympics is the biggest platform for an athlete to showcase their talents to the world. However, the grandeur of it all apparently does not reach the athletes as it has been seen in recent times that some of them take to OnlyFans to cater to their finances.

The subscription-based content site saw an addition of content creators in athletes including, but not limited to, Alysha Newman, Robbie Manson, and Jack Laugher.

All the athletes gained significant attention at the Paris Olympics, not only because of their performances, but also for their need to join the platform. Jack Laugher came forward to debunk the widespread confusion, explaining how the Olympic money did not even pay their rents. Additionally, he shared how the funding is notably low for a top eighth swimmer in the world.

The recurring admissions from athletes led to the IOC gaining heat on the subject on finance distribution. In a press conference at the Olympics, IOC spokesperson Mark Adams dismissed the question with equating athletes to humans who act out of their free will. Additionally, he denied his knowledge of the ongoing trend.
