In addition, Durant also spoke about his ‘approach to the game’ calling it as perfect as it can get. He has always been highly vocal regarding Irving in the past as well. Durant further stated that Irving will ‘help Mavs’ as much as he can. Irving has been a great addition to the Mavs alongside star-man Luka Donic.

Kevin Durant shared his views on his bond with Kyrie Irving
Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving share a huge past. This takes them back to the time when they were teammates at the Brooklyn Nets. Durant was ecstatic at first when he joined the Nets. He dreamed of winning an NBA title with Irving for the Nets.
However, things did not work out as Irving left the Nets, and soon Durant followed. This raised questions regarding the duo’s relationship after the Nets incident. Regarding this, Durant recently opened up on their bond.
The three players—Durant, Irving, and James Harden, were unable to live up to the extremely high expectations that were in place while they were all in Brooklyn due to a mix of injuries and eligibility concerns. Also, with COVID-19 happening, things got even worse for the Nets and their star players, eventually leading to all 3 leaving the franchise.
