LeBron James has a savage response involving Stephen Curry about what is still great about the NBA today
Lakers star man LeBron James made a bold remark lately after winning an exciting matchup against his rival, Steph Curry, and the Warriors.
LeBron James and Steph Curry
The NBA world witnessed an all-time classic performance at the Chase Center between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors. In particular, Lakers great LeBron James and Warriors star Stephen Curry went toe-to-toe against one another on Christmas Day. Notably, in an interview with the media following the game, James was asked, “What’s the good stuff that’s still going in the league?”
People have voiced several issues with the league in recent years. While some concentrate on the dwindling viewership, others think that the standard of games has declined. However, there is still something fantastic about the league, and James seems to be thrilled about it. He gave a savage response to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin.
After the game, LeBron James told Dave McMenamin, “LeBron and Steph,” regarding the ‘good stuff’ going on in the league. Austin Reaves, who wasn’t in front of the camera, praised his response right away in a sarcastic manner. Reaves said, “Great f***ing answer.” Since players like, Curry and James can still draw sizable crowds and generate excitement for games, the league still greatly depends on them.

James won the game with 31 points, four rebounds, and ten assists. While Curry finished with 38 points and six assists. In addition to these two, Reaves had a fantastic game. He finished with a triple-double of 26 points. Not only that, Reaves also shot the game-winning basket with 1 second remaining in the game in a classic matchup between the two sides.
The Lakers are currently 17–13 for the season whereas the Warriors currently have a 16–14 Western Conference record. All eyes will be on how the two sides perform going forward into the 2024-25 NBA season.
Despite Lebron James’ remarks, Austin Reaves opens up on game-winning basket against Warriors
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors 115-113 on Christmas Day, led by a layup and baseline drive by Austin Reaves. However, following the game, Reaves disclosed that LeBron James was called for the play. Ignoring the call, Reaves drove to the hoop alone, sealing the victory after seeing an opportunity to win the game.

Reaves’ decision to seize the ball to himself while the play was called for James was undoubtedly audacious. It is dangerous for a player to disregard the head coach’s play call after a fierce back-and-forth game and risk losing the game. Reaves would have received harsh criticism for this if he hadn’t made the winning basket.
