Netflix just announced the inclusion of mega popstar Beyonce in NFL’s half-time show on Christmas Day. The show will take place as the Houston Texans take on the Baltimore Ravens. However, the fans remain perplexed if they will even be able to see the show, considering the Mike Tyson–Jake Paul Netflix disaster.
The NFL’s partnership with Netflix came to pay off with this huge announcement. This will be the first time Beyonce will perform tracks from her latest album, Cowboy Carter.
The singer posted the news on her social media where the global icon is seen catching a football as she stood on a rose-covered car. Beyonce wore clothing with color pallet of the USA flag, adding her signature cowboy hat. That wasn’t all, as Netflix lured the fans with expectations of ‘special guests’ tagging along with Beyonce.

The show taking place between the two AFC teams was individually looked forward to. However, Beyonce’s addition was a bonus. To NFL’s disappoint, though, the audience remains far from the celebratory spirits after the Mike Tyson and Jake Paul disappointment. The boxing match took place on Friday night in a sold-out stadium of 70,000 seats at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Meanwhile the rest of the audience headed to Netflix to stream the live, but the streaming platform suffered multiple outages, angering the fans. Some faced buffering issues, while others reported login and/or other streaming issues. Henceforth, the fans were left doubtful of the potential of Beyonce’s half-time show.
Fans react to Netflix’s Beyonce halftime show announcement
Tyson vs. Paul reported 60 million streams around the world, most leaving the stream agitated. After the despondency from the bout, NFL fans took to X to question the operations of the announced halftime show. Understandably, the fans doubted the Netflix’s servers’ capacity to uphold performance in the future.
are you sure your servers can handle it??

In addition to Netflix, the NFL fans will be able to watch the match on broadcast TV as well as on the NFL+ app in the US. The opportunity with the renowned streaming platform was an inclusivity step towards audiences outside of the US.
Despite the fans despair, the event is one of the most notable ones because of the global star’s involvement.
