Dolphins ‘weirdly’ gave Antonio Brown a shoutout during Tua Tagovailoa’s first practice session post concussion

Antonio Brown has been everywhere these past couple of weeks. AB made his presence felt, from delivering a speech at Donald Trump’s rally to gracing his presence at Tua Tagovailoa’s first training session at Miami Gardens after recovering from a concussion.

Now one might ask why Brown was at the Dolphins practice on Wednesday. Is the 36-year-old making a stunning return to football after four years of being AWOL?

The reality of the matter is very different. Brown wasn’t physically present at the Dolphins training, but his voice was. Veteran Miami Herald contributor Omar Kelly shared a video on X (previously Twitter) from Tua Tagovailoa going through some drills with wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

The Dolphins staff had music on in the background, and the song belonged to none other than the Super Bowl winner. It’s a song written by Brown called ‘Put that s**t on.’

Recently, Brown even claimed that Tagovailoa joined CTESPN when the Pro Bowl quarterback announced that he would not wear a guardian cap to protect his head from further hits because of personal reasons.

Tua Tagovailoa’s return has Tyreek Hill excited

The Dolphins have felt Tagovailoa’s absence, but no one more than wide receiver #1 Tyreek Hill. Since the 26-year-old’s injury during their Week 2 loss to the Bills, Hill’s numbers are a far cry from what they were last season.

Hill caught just 14 passes from 24 targets in the four games since then while receiving from three different quarterbacks. Tagovailoa’s return has him excited the most.

I feel like old time. Me and him connected on a few deep shots today. That kinda got me feeling good today… Just having him line up, having him call plays just hearing his voice—I know it sounds crazy but he’s a big part of this team bro.

Kelly and the other reporters asked Hill what the Dolphins fans expect to see when Tagovailoa starts for the team once again. The all-pro wideout advised every fantasy football manager to include him in their teams because the Dolphins will turn things around with Tua as their quarterback.

Tyreek Hill stated.

The Dolphins need a winning run if they even hope to play in the playoffs for the third consecutive year. It will be hard as they sit with a 2-4 record after six weeks of football. However, Mike McDaniel’s team has a few favorable matches that are more than winnable.

Barring the Bills in early November, the Dolphins have games against the Cardinals, Rams, Raiders, Patriots, and Jets as their next six fixtures. Every single one of those teams is below .500, with rosters worse than the Miami franchise.
