Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs gifted their fans a sweet win on Christmas Day 2024. Amid the celebrations and festivities, the QB’s mom, Randi Mahomes, shared an important update. Taking to her Instagram account, she made a heartfelt plea for prayers regarding Mahomes’ grandfather.

Randi Mahomes is a recurring face in the stands of the Chiefs games. However, some time ago, she skipped the stadium to watch the game with her father in a facility. It was then that the mom of the Chiefs quarterback opened up about her father’s deteriorating health and asked for prayers.

Once again, Randi Mahomes shared a similar update on her Instagram story. With a picture of her and Patrick Mahomes’ grandfather, she asked the fans to pray for his well-being.

The grave news comes not more than a year after Randi Mahomes had to bid her mother goodbye. April 2023 was specifically tough for the mom of Patrick Mahomes. However, to this date, she proceeds to recall her while appreciating Patrick Mahomes. In a recent post, Randi lauded Patrick for making it to the Times 100 list. Additionally, she wrote that her mother would have beamed with pride and bragged to every one of her contacts.

Coming to the present, Randi Mahomes has not revealed any specific reason for her father’s illness. Nor has Patrick Mahomes made any comment about the same. Although in the QB’s defense, he was busy juggling between the stadium and his home this Christmas.

Patrick Mahomes’s mom celebrates Christmas with the family

Patrick Mahomes’ inescapable schedule with the Chiefs led him to miss yet another holiday with the family. However, unfretted, the QB celebrated an early Christmas. Days prior to the game with the Pittsburg Steelers, the Mahomes family posted pictures of their celebration.

The post was a family portrait with Brittany Mahomes sitting with their two kids as Patrick Mahomes joined them sideways. The picture also featured the non-negotiable Christmas tree and Santa Claus. Days later, mother Randi Mahomes joined the family for Christmas.
