Who are Jalen Hurts parents, Averion and Pamela Hurts?
Let’s talk about Hurts‘ parents, who were constantly behind him, supporting him on and off the field.
Throughout his time in high school, Hurts’ father was his very own football coach who trained him how to play. Jalen Hurts spent his high school years with his father and attended Channelview High School, the same school where his father graduated in the year 1986.
Averion Hurts went to Howard Payne University, where he played football. He got his degree in marketing from there in 1999. Before joining Channelview in 2006, he was a football coach at Robert E. Lee High School in Bytown, Texas. He trained his son in Channelview school and was preparing him to be an NFL star someday.
When it comes to Hurts’ mother, Pamela Hurts, since his first match, can always be seen in the games that he played from a young age. His mother is a role model for him as the person who gave their children the best upbringing.
Pamela has two degrees to her name in her academic career. A B.A. in business administration and an M. Sc. in counseling are the two degrees that she achieved. The exceptionally talented woman is currently employed by Channelview’s special services division, and she also teaches special education math in high school. Pamela has been her son’s constant supporter and can frequently be seen cheering him on throughout his life.
Jalen Hurts also has two siblings: a younger sister named Kynnedy and an older brother named Averion (named after his father). Averion played as the starting quarterback for Texas Southern University.
