Caleb Williams spent two glorious years with the USC Trojans, where he won the Heisman Trophy and the Maxwell Trophy while wearing the #13 jersey. To honor one of the school’s all-time great quarterbacks, USC decided to retire the number as a mark of respect.

Before USC faced their great rivals Notre Dame on Saturday, Williams and his family appeared before the crowd for the special moment. The felicitation process began with handing Williams a framed #13 jersey, which he held up above his head with pride.

Williams wasn’t the only former player to attend the Trojans-Notre Dame game. His Bears teammate, tight end Cole Kmet, who graduated from Notre Dame, caught up with him. Williams had a special message for Kmet.

I have a teammate coming into town, Cole Kmet. So I hope that we come out and get this win, just so that I can clown him and make him wear everything USC on Monday.
