Rayne Dakota Prescott is a star NFL player who is also known as Dak Prescott to his worldwide fan base. The QB is at the center of things for many years on the roster of ‘America’s team’.
Prescott’s childhood was the most memorable, with her mother by his side. She raised him in Louisiana, where he played football for the Buccaneers, earning him the status of a three-star recruit. His mother died of colon cancer in 2013 and was unable to attend the remainder of Dak’s rise to stardom.
The future QB’s desire to advance in life was sparked by his aspiration to be a star player. He later chose Mississippi State University to play the game, where he consistently won titles and awards for his team. Dak Prescott’s selection in the NFL put him under the constant challenge of being the best player on the field with all of his dedication.
The young quarterback was selected by the Dallas Cowboys for a four-year contract to play alongside Tony Romo. In honor of his mother’s birthday on September 4, he selected jersey number #4. His achievement and remarkably playing for the group got him the Pro Bowl mention twice in 2016 and 2018.
Who are Nathaniel and Peggy Prescott?
Dak Prescott is a star-studded player with many prestigious titles on his rack. He comes from a mixed racial descent, with his mother being of European- American background and his father of African-American background.
However, before he could achieve it all, his mother passed away due to colon cancer at an age of 51. The player also established a platform in memory of his mother named Faith Fight Foundation, whose aim is to take care of people facing hardships in life.
Prescott, wearing the number 4 jersey, is another example of his love for his mother as her mother’s birth date falls on September 4th.
Talking about Nathaniel, Prescott’s father, divorced Peggy at an early age and left behind Dak and his siblings to be taken care of. These kids took warmth under their mother’s wings and grew struggling to realize the hard time faced by their mother.
Peggy isn’t the first wife to Nathaniel and has been married before. However, there are no details of the family he maintained.
