Caitlin Clark has had a whirlwind year both coming off college as well as her debut season in the WNBA. After the Indiana Fever rookie’s stellar season, she used her off season to check off some goals by attending Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour concert when she managed to meet Travis Kelce.
The Kansas City Chiefs superstar revealed that Caitlin Clark was a Swiftie through and through. She even exchanged friendship bracelets with many attending fans and ended up having a lot of them on her right wrist.
The two met and talked, but no one knew if the WNBA superstar had met Swift. However, in her interview with Time magazine, the 22-year-old revealed how her backstage experience went when she finally got to meet the Grammy Award-winning star.
Caitlin Clark has already helped the WNBA break several viewership and attendance records this season. Her outstanding play ensured a steady stream of celebrities started to turn up for games. Most notably was the 2024 WNBA All-Star game, that saw packed crowds along with record breaking attendance.

Travis Kelce has already been to NBA games in this past season. If he and Taylor Swift were to walk into Gainbridge Fieldhouse for a game, it could elevate the WNBA viewership ratings higher than last season. More importantly, it could bring a new league of ‘Swifties’ to women’s basketball.
Fans at Eras Tour were enamored by Caitlin Clark
The Eras Tour concerts Caitlin Clark attended were held at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. She took her friends and family to the shows and was enjoying every bit of the experience. However, the friendship bracelet exchanging sessions made the Indiana Fever star one of the major attractions of the show.
This revelation from the WNBA Rookie of the Year suggested she understood fans in Indianapolis were in awe of her. They even forgot about the Taylor Swift experience as they lined up to exchange friendship bracelets and click pictures.
A combination of her’s and Swift’s fans should push the WNBA to grow at a faster pace. If it also happens to be a game featuring either Angel Reese, Cameron Brink or Paige Bueckers, the WNBA might dwarf other major sports leagues that day.
