Over his 23-year career in the NFL, Tom Brady had the opportunity to throw the ball to some of the greatest wide receivers to step on the gridiron. From Chad Johnson to Randy Moss and Rob Gronkowski to Julian Edelman, Brady has had some Hall of Fame receiving core but there is a player in the NFL right now whom he wishes he had alongside on his team.
Brady was answering the questions sent in by fans on the NFL on FOX Mailbag. During this, he received a query from a lifelong Patriots fan Zachary Wortzel who asked him which current wide receiver who he has not played with would he have liked to throw to on the field. A tough question, but to the seven-time Super Bowl champion, the answer slipped right off his tongue.
His choice was none other than Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings, the highest-paid receiver in the NFL and the best at what he does.
Was his preference surprising in any way? No. After all, Justin Jefferson is THAT dude. Some of his catches this season have been unreal.
Tom Brady is awestruck by Justin Jefferson’s elite skillset
Be it the juggling catch he caught against the Rams, the insane 97-yard touchdown, or the recent 52-yard touchdown against the Falcons, that man Justin Jefferson can do it all. Tom Brady went as far as to compare him to another Vikings legend and one of the greatest wideouts of all time, Randy Moss.
Brady had the privilege of playing beside Moss, so he can recognize just how good JJettas is.
The Vikings owe their success to the star wideout who deserves every penny of what he is making.

This season, he has 75 receptions for 1,170 yards and 7 touchdowns. Jefferson has been the offense. Apart from him, Tom Brady made sure to give props to Ja’Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals. “What a year he’s having,” he said, recognizing his string of outstanding performances this season.
Despite the Bengals’ disappointing season record, Chase leads the NFL in receiving yards and touchdowns with 1,319 and 15, respectively.
