Maxx Crosby’s cryptic tweet indicates Shedeur Sanders to Raiders?
Despite his injury and rehab, Maxx Crosby is focused on the Raiders' season, knowing a tank could land them Shedeur Sanders in the draft.

First time in a while, the Las Vegas Raiders fielded a team that did not include Maxx Crosby on the team sheet on Monday when they played against the Atlanta Falcons. On the rare occasion, the star pass rusher decided to follow the game from the comforts of his home near Vegas.
Besides Crosby, the Raiders played without both Gardner Minshew and Aidan O’Connell, as both suffered season-ending injuries. Mid-season addition Desmond Ridder started at Allegiant Stadium, threw two costly interceptions, and finished with a completion rate of just over 58%.
The Raiders surrendered 15 points while scoring only 9. It was the Vegas franchise’s 12th loss of the season (10 in a row is currently the longest active losing streak in the NFL). Crosby tweeted some of the key moments in the game, but his final post attracted much attention.

Few speculated that it was Crosby’s way of hinting that the Raiders needed a new quarterback. Neither Minshew, O’Connell, nor Ridder are prolific or franchise QB material. All three are at best bridge players or career backups. If the Raiders are to change their fortune, they must find the right quarterback.
Currently, the Raiders are competing with the New York Giants for the No. 1 overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft. As per reports, Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders will be the first player off the board in April.
Sanders established connections with both teams after the recent college football season ended. His father and Colorado head coach Deion Sanders asked Raiders HC Antonio Pierce to draft his son while Shedeur was seen familiarizing himself with Giants rookie receiver Malik Nabers recently during Heisman Trophy week.
Although no team likes to tank a season, it will be in the Raiders’ best interest to finish with the No. 1 pick.

Maxx Crosby has faith in the Raiders owner who can bring in a quality quarterback
The Crosby exit rumors subsided a while ago, meaning he is on board with the idea of waiting it out for the next season. However, there’s still the possibility of missing out on the first pick, but Crosby has faith in the newest member of the Raiders ownership to find the best QB for the job.
Seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady became a minority owner of the Raiders earlier in the season and has the power to influence drafts. Crosby believes Brady’s expertise can help develop their future franchise quarterback.

One positive area that has Raiders fans jubilated is Sanders dropping massive Easter eggs about his future. The former Jackson State QB thanks the almighty after every Raiders result (usually a loss), and he even shared a video driving by the Allegiant Stadium, which made the fans lose their heads.
