Lewis Hamilton‘s shocking switch to Ferrari remains a highly anticipated move in the 2025 season. The Briton is believed to simply enter the Italian constructor and take them to monumental success. The Reds could finally dream of contending for the championship with the seven-time world champion. Hence, amidst the impending move, major Mercedes sponsors are set to ditch the team to join Maranello.
Lewis Hamilton‘s performances had amassed a lot of sponsorships to Mercedes over the course of 12 years. Companies like Monster Energy, Puma, and Tommy Hilfiger were some notable sponsors under Hamilton. However, following the Briton’s move to Ferrari, the major brands no longer seem interested in financing the German carmaker.
As a result, all the aforementioned sponsors are reportedly set to join Ferrari in the 2025 season. This means that Mercedes must start looking for other investors in their team as the star leaves the team. Hence, Toto Wolff won’t be too happy with the situation that the 39-year-old put the team under. Regardless, Hamilton looks ahead at the impending move by the end of this season.
Lewis Hamilton reportedly set to join Ferrari alongside Almave as a sponsor of the team
The non-alcoholic drink brand, Almave owned by Lewis Hamilton continues to hit massive sales. Hence, the 39-year-old is rumored to join the team alongside the company owned by him. This means that Hamilton will sponsor himself on the team amidst the myriad of sponsors waiting to join the team.
Ferrari’s recent deal with HP was also recorded as one of the biggest if not the biggest sponsor deals in Formula 1. As a result, Maranello has already started to reap the benefits of the seven-time world champion joining them. Moreover, the team’s improving pace this season continues to be a highly motivating factor for the 39-year-old.

There are also rumours that Hamilton himself could become a sponsor of Ferrari through his brand Almave.
Mercedes still hasn’t taken offense to the move and is planning a massive farewell for Hamilton by the end of this season. Brackley has also confirmed the driver’s lineup for 2025 as prodigy Kimi Antonelli is set to join the team alongside ‘lead’ George Russell. Hence, the coming season will be a spectacle to witness for the team and drivers alike.
