Yes, Damar Hamlin is still playing football for the Buffalo Bills. He joined them as a 6th-round (212th overall) draft pick in 2021. In the 2021 season, he played 14 games, mostly as a backup to Micah Hyde.

However, on January 3, 2023, Damar Hamlin collapsed during the game against the Cincinnati Bengals after tackling wide receiver Tee Higgins. The on-field Bills medical staff administered CPR and automated external defibrillation (AED) to revive him. Later, he was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. A team statement later revealed that Hamlin had suffered cardiac arrest.

On January 5, cornerback Kaiir Elam revealed that Hamlin was doing fine. Four days later, the hospital discharged him so that he could return to Buffalo and continue his treatment there. In February, he made a special appearance at Super Bowl LVII.

Hamlin has been promoting the use of CPR and AED. On May 15, 2023, he received the George Halas Award. At the ESPY Awards in July, he had the honor to present the Pat Tillman Award to the Buffalo Bills medical team that saved his life.
