Tua Tagovailoa has become a name to reckon with in the world of the NFL. However, after the 2021 season came to an end, we didn’t hear much from Tua. Since then, a lot has happened with the Dolphins.

As soon as the Brian Flores lawsuit took center stage, the Dolphins got themselves involved in a major controversy. Flores accused the Dolphins of racial discrimination and the case is still going on. Moreover, there were speculations that Tua actually had a role in getting Brian fired.

After the news of Brian’s exit from the Dolphins came out, a lot of possible reasons behind the franchise’s decision started surfacing. One of them was that there was a rift between Tua Tagovailoa and Brian due to which the franchise was compelled to fire Flores.

Another rumor was that Brian just couldn’t believe that Tua’s body transformation was real and forced him to get tested for Performance Enhancement Drugs on more than one occasion. According to reports, one time, Tua was heard yelling at Flores “you can’t treat people this way.”

Recently, Tua spoke publicly for the first time after the 2021 season ended, and boy he was awkward while talking about Flores. When a reporter asked for his comment on his relationship with Brian, Tua said, “Big question, that’s a big question.” He then took an extended pause before continuing.

“Well, I’ll tell you this: I’m very thankful that he drafted me to come here to play for the Miami Dolphins. That’s what I’d say.” He refrained from talking anything about the fact that Flores was fired by the Dolphins. “I would say I have no comment towards any of that,” Tagovailoa said. “Just because I don’t come up with those decisions.”
