Scottie Scheffler, the world’s top-ranked golfer, is looking forward to the 2024 Open Championship at Royal Troon. He has had an outstanding season with six victories, including the Masters. Scheffler now wants to add the Claret Jug to his expanding list of triumphs.
The 28-year-old American has been in excellent form this year, finishing in the top 10 in 13 of 15 tournaments. However, he recognizes that the Open Championship poses a unique set of challenges. Scottie Scheffler expressed his confidence in the press conference ahead of the tournament.

When will Scottie Scheffler tee at the Open Championship in Round 1?
Scottie Scheffler is all set to for Round 1 at the Open Championship this year. Scheffler will tee off at 10:10 a.m. ET at Royal Troon on Thursday. He will pair alongside Jordan Spieth and Cameron Young.
Scheffler will be looking forward to having his first Open Championship victory. His last title came at the Masters in April 2024.

The opening group will consist of three players: Justin Leonard, Todd Hamilton, and Jack McDonald. Leonard is the 1997 Open Champion, having won the title at Royal Troon. Hamilton won the Open in 2004, also at Royal Troon.
The next few groups will tee off in quick succession. Tom McKibbin, Alex Noren, and amateur Calum Scott will go off at 1:46 a.m. Jesper Svensson, Vincent Norrman, and Michael Hendry will start at 1:57 a.m.
