I don’t think you ever are. All I know is I’ll be as ready as I possibly can, and we’re going to make the most out of every situation we can. I can’t tell you honestly if I’m ready because I’ve never done it before. I’ll let you know in a couple months. It will be a challenge in different ways but one that we’re excited for.

Before this though, Thomas is eyeing to end his winless drought and claim another victory in Asia. Out of his 15 PGA Tour wins, four of them have come in Asia. This will be his second appearance in this event, having first appeared in the inaugural edition in 2019.

Justin Thomas admits feeling bad for laughing at Scottie Scheffler’s neck injury

On the par-4 12th hole at TPC Sawgrass during the second round, Scheffler would scuff a tee shot leading to an audible laugh from Thomas. The 31-year-old later realized that Scheffler was playing with a neck injury and started feeling bad for his actions.

[His neck injury] didn’t really come up until our third hole on Friday. I just remember he hit this tee shot and it was like the most absurd follow-through I’ve ever seen and I was audibly laughing because I thought it was just one of his patented follow-throughs only to find out it was his neck and I actually felt pretty bad.

Despite the neck injury, Scheffler was able to emerge victorious. His win saw him become the first player to go back-to-back at the Players Championship.
