As the second day of the Ryder Cup gets underway in Rome, the atmosphere in Team Europe’s locker room is a chill one. They had a memorable day one at the Marco Simone course which has propelled them to a 5-point lead over their rivals. One of the key reasons for their strong performance has been their key bonding with each other. In one such bonding moment, the players were seen commenting on Viktor Hovland‘s music taste. It’s fair to say they did not enjoy his taste.

Hovland has established himself as one of the joyful guys on the tours. His smiling behavior has captured the attention of several fans who have adored him. His clothing style would become the talk of the town during the Open Championship.

To make things even more funnier for the audience, one user recently found out his Tinder account. Some argued it was not his, but the verification mark from the dating site indeed proved that the account belonged to the Norwegian international.

The 25-year-old golfer had previously claimed that he is a fan of heavy metal music. While nothing is wrong with listening to music, his Ryder Cup teammates were clearly not fond of it. They would troll him hilariously and call him out.

Viktor Hovland has enjoyed one of the best years in his young career so far. A victory at the Memorial Tournament would set the stage for future victories. Towards the end of the FedEx Cup, he would claim back-to-back wins at the BMW and Tour Championship to walk away with the grand trophy. His life outside the greens though has been pretty chill, where he could be seen having a time of his life.

Music is one of the most popular things in the world. Every person on earth has a different taste. However, Team Europe members did not take that into account and called out Hovland for his heavy metal liking. While he would justify his actions by calling the music heavy and that he likes its beat, his European partners had another say in that.

What is wrong with Viktor?” Jon Rahm would ask. “It sounds like the devil. That’s the most horrific thing I have heard in my life,” claimed Rory McIlroy. Meanwhile, Tyrell Hatton hilariously said, “I think you played that for like 15 seconds too long there.” Check out the reaction of others from the tweet below while Hovland tries to explain his favorite song.

It is very likely that Hovland is not going to change his music taste because of his teammates. His ex-roommates from college had also complained to him about it. This heavy music could be one of the reasons why Hovland hits like a tank on the greens.
