WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio has been at odds with his son, Dominik Mysterio, for over two years. During this time, the father and son have clashed in multiple brawls, leading to their estrangement. Despite their bitter conflict, the former United States Champion has expressed a desire to reconcile with his son.
Speaking with Peter Rosenberg on Cheap Heat, the Master of the 619 expressed that, as a father, he always hopes Dominik will eventually reunite with him. He emphasized that it is never too late to bury the hatchet and begin a new chapter. Mysterio remains hopeful that one day his family will be reunited, just like old times.
So, I don’t know if that’s going to happen. But over the years, people change. Sometimes for good, sometimes for bad.

Despite Dominik’s repeated disrespect toward his father, the WWE Hall of Famer continues to wish the best for his son. ‘Dirty’ Dom, often claiming to be better than his father, has garnered significant heat for his remarks. However, many fans anticipate a potential babyface turn for the 28-year-old, which could pave the way for the Mysterios’ reunion.
Currently, both Rey and Dominik Mysterio are working on Monday Night Raw; on opposite sides, Rey as part of LWO and Dominik with The Judgment Day. While fans anticipate another showdown between the Mysterios, WWE is positioning ‘Dirty’ Dom as the top star of the next generation. The two groups are going against each other for the battle of supremacy every now and then. Now, WWE has announced a special type of match to determine the better faction.
The WWE Hall of Famer has been fostering his bond with Lee, emerging as a powerful duo. Therefore, it will be interesting to see the clash between the two factions tonight.
