Dominik Mysterio sends NSFW message to Gunther (via WWE)
Dominik Mysterio got the opportunity of a lifetime on the latest episode of Raw. He faced off against Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. Surprsingly, he even had the crowd chanting for him. However, taking down the Ring General is no easy task, and he was left biting the dust after the match.
Gunther recently posted a video on his X account of the last few seconds of their match. He hit the Latino superstar with a devastating powerbomb and held him down for the count. In the caption, he also dropped a smug remark towards his opponent. Mysterio shot back at this tweet with an NSFW GIF of Frank Underwood from House of Cards.
Over the past few weeks, Mysterio has faced some huge superstars such as Gunther and Damian Priest. However, there may be a bigger enemy lurking for him soon enough in the form of Finn Balor, who is far from happy with him.

On the latest episode of Raw, Balor was looking for a world title opportunity. However, the World Heavyweight Champion was more interested in giving a title shot to his Judgment Day teammate instead. The 43-year-old clarified that he was not too happy with Mysterio getting opportunities that he felt he deserved instead.
Is Dominik Mysterio going to become the new leader of the Judgment Day?
Dominik Mysterio completely transformed his character after he split up from Rey Mysterio. He has built his own identity on the basis of great heel work and is no longer just the Hall of Famer’s son. The former Tag Team Champion may now finally be looking at being rewarded for all the work he has put in.
There are already several rumors floating around on the internet that Mysterio is due for a big push soon. Many fans speculate that the Latino superstar take over the mantle of the new leader of the Judgment Day. This is because WWE has already teased some tension between Finn Balor and Liv Morgan. Shortly following this segment, the former NXT North American Champion was asked to keep an eye on the Irish wrestler.
This would also give Finn Balor an opportunity to separate from the faction, as he is also set to receive a huge push next year. If Mysterio does become the leader of the Judgment Day, he could be headed for the world title. His winning and defending with cheap tactics and the numbers game would fit his character perfectly. Furthermore, he could also enter into a feud with the inaugural Universal Champion, putting them both into the world title picture.
