Dominik Mysterio recently made an appearance on No Contest Wrestling. During the interview, he mentioned how he had never had a win at WrestleMania, with a record of 0-3. The Latino superstar joked that he was going to be the reverse Undertaker, referring to The Deadman’s iconic winning streak at the Showcase of the Immortals.
The Undertaker had a legendary 21-0 streak at the Grandest Stage of Them All before it was ended by Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX. The Phenom would eventually end his career with a 25-2 record. One of the hosts also brought up Shawn Michaels’ moniker as Mr. WrestleMania, but Mysterio dismissed the legend by saying that nobody cared about him ever since he lost the hair.
Mysterio’s three losses have occurred consecutively at the past three WrestleMania’s. Furthermore, all three matches have involved his father in some capacity. At WrestleMania 38, he teamed up with Rey Mysterio to face Logan Paul and The Miz, where the Luchadors ended up losing.
“I’m 0-3 at Mania. 0-3, which is crazy. I’m going to be the opposite of The Undertaker”

By WrestleMania 39, he had turned on his father and had a singles match against him, where the Hall of Famer came out on top. Finally, at WrestleMania XL, he teamed up with Santos Escobar to take on the team of Rey and Andrade. Unfortunately, the former NXT North American Champion also lost this bout after appearances from Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson.
Dominik Mysterio disobeyed WWE’s orders at WrestleMania 39
Dominik Mysterio turning on Edge and his father at Clash at the Castle 2022 was a pivotal point in his career. This separated him from just being “Rey Mysterio’s son” and turned him into his own man and the singles superstar that he is today. This, of course, led to a singles match between him and his father, during which he flipped a cup of water on his sister.
Speaking on No Contest Wrestling, Dominik Mysterio said he was given instructions by someone he refused to name. They told the 27-year-old to avoid interacting with his family, who were sitting at ringside. However, he did not take these instructions too simply. His mother even tried to slap him a bunch of times after he pressed her buttons. Furthermore, his sister was sitting with a red cup of water right in front of him.
The Raw superstar said that, at that point, she was just asking for him to slap it out of her hands. He wanted to take a sip of water out of it, but there wasn’t too much in the cup. He eventually just threw it at her, thinking that there wouldn’t be any serious consequences anyway.
