The team of R-Truth and The Miz qualified for the Tag Team Championship six-pack ladder match on Raw. However, the interesting thing was that Truth didn’t even realize that he had punched his ticket to WrestleMania. Awesome Truth defeated Indus Sher in quite an unusual fashion, but they gladly took it. 

On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, three matches took place for an opportunity to qualify for the six-pack ladder match at WrestleMania. One of those matches was R-Truth and The Miz versus Indus Sher.

The match started in a normal way, with the powerhouses dominating the proceedings. However, things quickly took a turn when the 52-year-old veteran miraculously found himself on top of Veer Mahan. The referee counted to three, and Awesome Truth subsequently picked up the win.

This was not the highlight of the match as even after they won the match, Truth couldn’t figure out what had transpired. The A-Lister explained what happened to his tag team partner as he came back to his senses and celebrated the victory. Awesome Truth joined The New Day and #DIY as the fourth team to enter the match, including the champions.

Two more matches will take place next week on SmackDown, as The Street Profits will take on AOP while The O.C. will compete against Grayson Waller and Austin Theory. It will be exciting to see which two teams qualify for the tag titles bout at WrestleMania. Irrespective of the participants, the bout is one of the most anticipated matches of the weekend.

Since R-Truth returned to the Survivor Series: WarGames, fans have realized what they have missed out on for a year. The former United States Champion instantly became a crowd favorite once again with his ridiculous antics. As such, the 52-year-old veteran recently revealed why he believes he is at the peak of popularity in his wrestling career.

R-Truth discussed his current rise in popularity in an interview with WWE-Die Woche. He stated that after returning from injury, he felt like he has made more impact than he ever did. The veteran further added that although he missed a year due to a quad injury, it turned out all well for him.

Right now , I am more over, I'm more popular, I'm making more of an impact than I ever made in my whole career and it's because of the quad injury so it's because of that time being gone and coming back now, it's all good. I'd do it all over again.

Fans were invested in Truth’s storyline involving The Judgment Day. The WWE legend’s hilarious antics made life difficult for the faction. Now, he will challenge them for the Tag Team titles along with The Miz. It will be interesting to see whether R-Truth exacts revenge on the stable that embarrassed him at the Showcase of Immortals.
