Although Roman Reigns and The Usos are now fighting on the same side, it is evident that they are still not on the same page. There is still a lot of tension between the Samoans. On the latest episode of SmackDown, Jey Uso made it clear that he is no one’s lackey anymore.

A backstage segment on SmackDown featured Uso wanting to talk to Reigns about the episode’s intense opening segment. The OTC refused and started to walk away, but the former Intercontinental Champion stopped him by grabbing his arm. Jey was upset because the 39-year-old had refused to hear Sami Zayn out.

This statement upset Roman Reigns, who berated his cousin for caring so much about Zayn. Reigns further stated that if the Canadian truly meant so much to him, the 10x Tag Team Champion should get out of his face and go look for him instead. This statement ticked off Uso. He brought up the condition that he had put forth when he reunited with his cousins.

You talk to me like that, I’m out. That’s your one pass, Uce.

Jey Uso to Roman Reigns on SmackDown

Jey Uso was an individual superstar and no longer someone’s servant. He said that if Reigns ever talked to him like that again, he would quit their alliance. Jey asserted that this was the only pass that the former WWE Universal Champion would get.

After making his stance clear, he walked away from the scene. Jimmy Uso also condemned his cousin’s actions and walked away after giving him a look. Luckily for everyone, the OG Bloodline was able to get on the same page after Zayn saved Reigns at the end of the show.

Tommy Dreamer believes that Jimmy and Jey Uso reunited too quickly

Triple H‘s creative booking has been defined by slow burns, with storylines taking weeks and even months to progress. Thus, it was worrying for fans when the OG Bloodline weren’t even interacting with each other on TV during September, when they were supposed to take part in a WarGames match just two months later.

There were a lot of unresolved issues among Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso. Fans expected that these relationships would take a long time to mend. However, it appeared as if The Usos, and eventually Reigns, got back together within less than a month. Speaking on Busted Open After Dark, Tommy Dreamer felt that the longest-reigning tag team champions got back together way too soon.

I personally feel that they united The Usos too soon. I wish I would have seen this drawn out more, but we’re here. And it’s not my job to say, ‘Well, my idea is better.’ I just personally would have liked to see it because I felt there was more drama to it.

Dreamer felt that there was a lot of drama that could be milked from the storyline. Perhaps WWE rushed the reunion. There are also alternative reports saying that Saudi officials wanted the OG Bloodline to have a match in Riyadh. Thus, the reunion was rushed to make it in time for Crown Jewel. However, these reports have not been confirmed by any credible sources.
