The Bloodline saga has birthed a plethora of branching storylines due to its scale and compelling characters. Drew McIntyre has a long history with the Samoan faction, going up against Roman Reigns various times. This history has now given rise to a new story, with the Scottish Warrior coming after Jey Uso and Sami Zayn.
The latest episode of Raw featured a pre-recorded promo by the former WWE Champion. During his absence, he pondered whether people could truly change. However, he then saw the likes of CM Punk, Uso, and Zayn team up with Reigns at Survivor Series: WarGames.
McIntyre still understood why Punk joined the team, taking a bribe, referring to the favor Paul Heyman owed him. However, Zayn and Uso had sold out for nothing, and he could not figure out why they would go back to the person who manipulated and abused them all these years. This was the moment that he knew he had to return to take them out.

Thus, just two days after Survivor Series, McIntyre returned to WWE on Raw last week. He showed up in a hoodie and ambushed Zayn with a Claymore, who had just wrapped up a match against Seth Rollins. Earlier in the night, Uso had also been brutalized backstage with no clear sign of an assailant, who turned out to be the Chosen One himself.
Drew McIntyre set to face Sami Zayn at Saturday Night’s Main Event
After settling his differences with Sami Zayn last week, Seth Rollins advised the former Intercontinental Champion to deal with Drew McIntyre. The Underdog from the Underground accepted this piece of advice and called out the 2020 Royal Rumble winner. He said that he had already spoken to General Manager Adam Pearce, and the two had a date at Saturday’s Night Main Event.
As Sami Zayn was walking up the ramp, McIntyre ambushed him once again. Several producers and officials rushed to the scene to pull them apart. In a video later posted to WWE’s X account, the Scottish wrestler was seen being reprimanded by Pearce.

This time, Zayn got the jump on McIntyre, and WWE officials had to separate the two once again. It appears that the Canadian is alone in his fight, as his ally Jey Uso seems to be out of action following the backstage attack last week.
