Stephen Curry was the center of attention after his monstrous performance in the Finals of the Paris Olympics basketball competition. Notably, Curry helped his nation achieve a historic 5th consecutive Gold medal alongside stars like LeBron James and Kevin Durant. Additionally, Durant was in “awe” of Curry’s masterclass against the French side.

Curry was also on fire in the semi-final matchup against Nikola Jokic‘s Team Serbia. He scored 36 points in Team USA’s 95-91 comeback victory, securing a position in the gold medal game. Following the game, Durant described Curry’s performance as “God-like.” Notably, Durant did the same after Curry’s top-notch performance against France in the Finals.

I've seen so many from him now, but that was, on this stage, the first Olympics, the world watching, especially after what he did first game, to follow it up again is probably the greatest (heat-check).

On the other hand, Durant has created history with his nation, the United States as he became the first-ever player in any sports to win 4 Gold medals for a nation. In addition, Durant has been one of the best players for Team USA over the past decade and is also the all-time points scorer in Olympic history for USA basketball.

Stephen Curry wears hilarious “nuit nuit” jumper at Team USA party after Gold medal win

Rachel Nichols posted a video of Team USA’s celebration after capturing the gold medal. Stephen Curry displayed a jumpsuit that read ‘Nuit Nuit’, which is French for ‘Night Night’, an acronym Curry usually uses when he makes his trademark motion to the crowd as he puts a game to bed. Notably, Curry claimed he “had to say nothing more” after wearing the jumpsuit.

This was somewhat of a sly dig by Curry toward the French fans who have been highly volatile against Team USA throughout the basketball tournament. In addition, many French fans also targeted particular players and booed them, with Curry giving them a taste of their own medicine.

On the other hand, Curry had an outstanding game for Team USA against Team France, scoring 24 points, adding one rebound, five assists, and two steals. Curry delivered an outstanding performance, including a game-winning three-pointer in the final minute. Now, after serving his duties for his nation, it remains to be seen how he performs in the upcoming 2024-25 NBA season.
