The Caitlin Clark phenomenon has already spread to other sports after her appearances during NFL and NBA games piqued interest among fans. The WNBA and Indiana Fever star is now about to play in Annika Sorenstam‘s Pro-Am tournament, news of which sent fans scurrying for tickets.
Caitlin Clark loves golf and now with the WNBA offseason in full swing, publicly declared her intentions to play as long as it does not get too chilly. The Annika, the second last event of the season, was just at the right time for her to sign up.
Considering the format of Pro-Am tournaments, the 22-year-old will first play nine holes with World No. 1 Nelly Korda. Then she will play her final nine holes with Hall of Famer Sorenstam. A tantalizing program that fans could not wait to watch. Indiana Fever beat writer Scott Agness caught wind of this and shared the news on social media.

This information suggests a packed crowd will be waiting for Caitlin Clark at the Pelican Golf Club in Tampa Bay. Even the professional golfers were excited about the fans she would be pulling in. The WNBA Rookie of the Year is expected to tee off at 7 am on November 14 and her warm-up games are expected to be heavily covered by Golf Channel.
Caitlin Clark outlines what drives her
Prior to teeing off tomorrow, the Pelican Golf Club hosted a discussion session with Annika Sorenstam, Caitlin Clark, and others at the Ball Room. Agness reported there was no room left for another person to get in.
During that discussion, Clark went on to reveal that she is still working on improving at golf. As the WNBA season starts in the summer, it prevents her from playing the sport more. But knowing that she can get quite competitive, the host asked her what motivates her, to which she said that she wants to be the best there is.
"I don't want anyone to be better than me."

The Indiana Fever star did mention that she also tries to keep it real with herself. That helps her identify her mistakes and work on them. Otherwise, she wants to beat everyone she competes against. Even if it was her own teammates and friends.
