What Caitlin Clark has done for the game is generational. As a baller to a baller, I just want to say thank you, to you Caitlin Clark. For just lifting our game up. You and so many great players for what you're doing. You're going to make all these women multimillionaires one day. Like Tiger did. Like Michael Jordan did. And we shouldn't hate on her. We should celebrate her. Not tolerate her.

The Fever have recovered to a 17-16 record for the season after a slow 0-5 start, and will be back in action on Wednesday night when they host the Los Angeles Sparks. Clark will likely be a key player in the matchup, and Lieberman’s praise has only added to the hype surrounding her.

Furthermore, Clark continued her impressive performance with 28 points, 12 assists, and four rebounds. Her season stats so far has her at 18.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 8.4 assists per game.

Nancy Lieberman makes the case for Caitlin Clark as WNBA Rookie of the Year

Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese have emerged as strong contenders for the WNBA Rookie of the Year Award, prompting Nancy Lieberman to assert that Clark, the Indiana Fever’s rookie sensation, is the clear winner. Clark has led the Fever to a near-perfect record since the league resumed after the Olympics and currently leads the league in assists per game.

By far, she’s (Clark) going to be rookie of the year, if anybody thinks she’s not, feel free to call me or hit me on Instagram or Twitter. She’s in the MVP conversation.

However, Angel Reese is also having a historical season, as she has shattered multiple WNBA records, including the longest double-double streak and most rebounds in a season. While Clark has been more impressive on offense, Reese has suffered from fan critics due to her poor offense.

The decision for Rookie of the Year will come down to whether the voters prefer Clark’s all-around skills and team success or Reese’s record-breaking achievements. Both players have made significant impacts on their teams, with Clark leading the Fever to a sixth-place ranking and Reese helping the Chicago Sky reach the playoff picture.
