Tyreek Hill, who was traded to the Miami Dolphins ahead of the 2022 season, sure built a great name for himself by chasing the 2,000-yard mark and becoming the fastest player in the league. However, that’s quite small to him in comparison to the success his former team has had since his departure.

The Kansas City Chiefs traded Hill to the Dolphins in 2022, and in both seasons following that, they brought home a Super Bowl trophy.

However, the loss of Hill wasn’t hidden, especially in the 2023 season when the Chiefs possessed the weakest receiving squad in the league.

But none of that was able to be a hurdle in the team’s path to success. Winning back-to-back Super Bowl trophies, the Chiefs engraved their name in history, becoming one of the only two teams in NFL history to do so.

However, the Chiefs’ success was quite tough on the star wide receiver, who feels he missed on a couple of Super Bowl rings to his name.

Tyreek Hill’s candid take on former team’s triumph

During the recent episode of the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, Hill shared his unfiltered reaction to his former team’s grand success, while his current team struggled in the playoffs.

The first year that they went, me and my wife, we took a trip to Tokyo because it was kind of hard for me. I don't want to look at no game, I don't want to look at nothing. She was like 'Babe, let's just go to Tokyo, let's just get away from it, and let's do our thing.
Said the Dolphins star, Tyreek Hill

Understandably, the Chiefs’ success in the Super Bowl victory was tough on Hill, given it was their first season without him and they still managed to succeed. But the second time they won, which was this past season, it was easier for Hill.

I'm cool now. But the first year it was kind of hard, trying to get over that hump of seeing the guys do their thing out there.

The receiver also shared how he even rooted for his former team to win after his team, the Dolphins, got eliminated from the playoffs following the wild-card loss.
