Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown could look to give some payback to Dallas Cowboys corner Jourdan Lewis on Sunday Night Football.

In the NFL, it is commonplace for opposing players to have some sort of beef, especially when it is players who play a position directly opposite each other—such as offensive and defensive linemen, or wide receivers and defensive backs. One such beef that has come to the forefront ahead of next week’s games is that between Dallas Cowboys corner Jourdan Lewis and Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown.
The beef started when Jourdan Lewis said something to Amon-Ra St. Brown in their matchup last season. The wideout while on the podcast, The Pivot, three months ago, revealed:
The 24-year-old did mention that if he ever got the chance to give it back to Lewis, he would ‘kill him’. It seems that the corner did say something that St. Brown did not appreciate.
Dallas Cowboys reporter Patrik Walker asked Jourdan Lewis about this entire incident when he sat down with the corner for an interview. To this he replied:
He said this with a straight face, as mentioned in the article, suggesting he did not care what his opponent thought about his words from last season.

With the Lions heading to AT&T Stadium to take on the Dallas Cowboys, it will be interesting to see how these two play against each other. If anything, both will be wanting to ensure the other does not get a chance to end up being the winner of their battle.
Jourdan Lewis and Amon-Ra St. Brown setting up epic Sunday Night Football clash
The last two times Jourdan Lewis played against the Detroit Lions, he picked off Jared Goff each time. He certainly wants to continue those performances. The nickelback is a thorn on the short and intermediate routes which Goff loves to exploit.
But with the beef continuing, Amon-Ra St. Brown might want a say in that. He is one of the Lions’ better route runners and often works in the slot. That could set him up against Lewis in what could be a tantalizing matchup. The Lions are one of the better teams in the NFL so far.
The Dallas Cowboys, on the other hand, want to continue with their winning ways. If either of these gets a good game, their efforts will help tilt the tide in their favor. Most importantly, it will show who came away better with their ongoing beef.
