The Dallas Cowboys were silenced on Sunday night at Jerry World by the Detroit Lions. However, the 47-9 loss did not stop one man from continuing to talk. Cornerback for the Cowboys, Jourdan Lewis decided to call out Lions’ wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and continue to trash-talk him on social media.

Jourdan Lewis sent a direct message to Amon-Ra St. Brown on Instagram. He used just 3 words to say to the Lions’ wideout, “You a b****.” This was in response to St. Brown’s Instagram story wherein he was bumping music and captioned it with “What he say” as he made a facial expression mocking the Cowboys and Lewis. He did not mention his name, but the reference was clear.

Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jourdan Lewis have been at one another’s throats for a while. It all started in 2022 when Dallas beat Detroit 24-6. In the subsequent week, the receiver revealed the interaction he had with Lewis on the field. The duo was talking trash throughout the game and the corner irked St. Brown with some of his statements.

Jourdan Lewis called out Amon-Ra St. Brown for posting a story of his message

The wideout went as far as to say “Once he starts talking like that, it’s like, if I do get a chance to kill him, I’mma kill him.” It was odd that Lewis chose last night to take a jibe at Amon-Ra. Even though he ended the game with one touchdown and 37 yards on four receptions, his team did not just win but they made the Dallas Cowboys look like a high school football team.

The 47-9 final score should have been enough to silence Jourdan Lewis, but he opted to still speak his mind. The cornerback responded to Amon-Ra St. Brown’s Instagram story by posting “That was between me and him. He decided to show the world.”

After the beating that the Cowboys took last night, Amon-Ra publicizing Lewis’ message is the least embarrassing thing to have happened to him.

The Lions came out with a statement win against the Cowboys. The team’s 47 points were the second-most points scored on the road in franchise history. Coincidentally, the team handed Dallas its fourth straight loss at home on the birthday of Jerry Jones.

That was not how he had envisioned celebrating his 82nd birthday. The Amon-Ra and Jourdan Lewis rivalry will continue, but unfortunately, fans will need to wait until the next season before they get an opportunity to watch them go at it.
