As Joe Burrow eclipsed the 4,000-yard mark for the third time in five seasons, Dan Orlovsky hasn’t been able to stop appreciating the quarterback. He once again showered high praise on the star quarterback, declaring his performance of this season as one of the best ever by a quarterback.
It wasn’t too long ago when Orlovsky boldly claimed the Cincinnati Bengals’ quarterback could win the MVP honor if his team qualified for the playoffs, while dismissing the prominence Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills achieved to be the frontrunner for NFL MVP and Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens with second best odds.
Following a stellar outing against the Denver Broncos, where Burrow threw for a second season-high 412 yards and three touchdowns, the former NFL quarterback praised Burrow’s exceptional skills and declared his offense as the best in the league.

Having said that, Orlovsky also sent a warning to the NFL that it would be one of the biggest failures if Burrow’s brilliant offense doesn’t help them advance to the playoffs. He firmly believes that Burrow is capable of dragging his team to victory and by doing so, he deserves to be part of not just the MVP conversation, but the playoffs.
Zac Taylor credits Joe Burrow’s field awareness for crucial win against Denver
The Bengals’ playoff hopes may be hanging by a thread, but if it wasn’t for the star quarterback Burrow, their season wouldn’t even be in the conversation of the postseason. They improved their odds after the victory against the Broncos and head coach Zac Taylor gave all the credit to Burrow, whose awareness on the field brought the much-needed victory of Week 17.
Burrow completed the game with a splash of overtime after posting 39 out of his 49 passes for 412 yards and three touchdowns without a single interception; along with 25 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. His impressive performances continue to draw praise from big names in the circuit, but the real question remains: will Burrow be able to lead the Bengals into the postseason this time?
