Trae Young is one of the most underrated players in the league today. In the past few seasons, he has been one of the few standout performers for the Atlanta Hawks. He was initially drafted by the Dallas Mavericks, who then swapped him in exchange for Luka Doncic from the Hawks.

Since moving to the South side in his rookie year, Trae Young has massively improved as a player. He has created a great impact through his shooting, with fans even comparing him to Stephen Curry. Recently, the point guard opened up on his ambitions to win an NBA title with the Hawks.

That's a different trajectory I'm definitely chasing. It ain’t never happened. Being in Atlanta and not winning a championship... I mean like it’s never been done, doing something like that there would be different... So, I’m definitely trying to make that happen.
Speaking on MILLION $ WORTH OF GAME, Trae Young said

As stated by Young, bringing a championship home to Atlanta is something in his bucket list. Truly, the franchise has never won the league title in their over 70 years history. Therefore, it would certainly hit differently for Hawks fans if they do achieve this milestone any time soon.

Furthermore, Young’s latest comments showed once again why the Hawks needs him more than ever. The 3-time NBA All-Star has been a great playmaker for them, averaging 25.7 points, 10.8 assists and 2.8 rebounds last season. As the new season approaches, he will look to get his plans off on a good footing.

Trae Young recounts little girl giving him middle finger at Knicks game

While Trae Young is a phenomenal player, not everybody seems to like him. Especially when it’s rival fans who are affected by his performance in games for the Hawks. This was the case when a young girl showed her dislike for Young during a game at the New York Knicks.

I'll never forget like this young little girl, if I had to guess, maybe 10 to 12. Like just giving me the finger, like right behind the scorer's table and I'm looking at her dad, like I don't say nothing to her. I just look at the dad and I'm like, that's cool?
Trae Young said on Paul George’s podcast

According to him, that experience of that young girl giving him the middle finger is a memory that hasn’t really left his head. Although he found it hilarious afterwards, it was a reminder of how the game is deeply felt by fans. Particularly fans in New York, who harbor a deep resentment for Young over the past few years.
