Bryson DeChambeau has spoken out in favor of Tiger Woods amid retirement speculation. Woods has had a difficult season in 2024. He missed the cut in the US Open and struggled to reclaim his form. Despite this, Woods is still determined to compete. He declared that he would retire only when he could no longer compete for titles.

DeChambeau feels Woods has the ability to win additional majors. He emphasized that Woods should not be pressured to retire. The two players have had a strained relationship, particularly since DeChambeau joined LIV Golf. However, they appear to be getting along better lately.

He's probably the most influential figure in the game of golf. He is the most influential figure in the game of golf right now, and I think he deserves to play in the majors. He's done more than enough for this great game, and he continues to give back by playing in these tournaments and trying to win. He wants to win. He's a competitor.

Woods has stated that he intends to continue playing as long as he feels capable. He has a special exemption that permits him to participate until age 60. This allows him to make his own decisions about his golf career. DeChambeau’s endorsement strengthens the notion that Woods can still succeed on the course.
