Jon Rahm has won the LIV Golf UK tournament which was the first LIV golf win of his career. The event was held at JCB Golf & Country Club in the West Midlands. However, during his second round, he ran into a difficult scenario on the 16th hole. A spectator’s disruptive attitude caused him to step away from his shot twice. Rahm and his caddie, Adam Hayes, were upset at what happened.
This resulted in a heated altercation. Hayes was genuinely unhappy. He cursed at the spectator to show his dissatisfaction. Other fans and journalists paid notice to the situation. Rahm, who is famed for his concentration, lost his cool temporarily.
Hayes confronted the fan, expressing his frustration with an expletive-laden outburst.
Yeah it’s gobbled up, yell louder when we’re in our f***cking backswing, you d***head!Adam Hayes can be heard saying to the fan
Rahm, the 2023 Masters winner, was already under strain as he competed for the championship and a $4 million reward. He began the day strongly but finished with a one-under-par 70, tied for fourth place.
Despite shooting an incredible eight-under-par 63 on Friday, Rahm was unable to maintain his momentum. Andy Ogletree was leading the event with a 12-under score after Round 2, while Rahm’s teammates Tyrrell Hatton and Cam Smith were tied for second at 10-under.
