This year’s Wimbledon affair is surely one for the books. The year’s tournament hit the hay on the 14th of July. With iconic players and vigorous matches, the two weeks kept the viewers on the edge of their seats. However, it was not just the games, but also the crammed celebrity presence that rocked the fans.

This year Wimbledon broke a couple records in itself. With having great matches to great audience, it became a site for celebrity/royalty spotting. Where we saw some regulars, there was also a good turn-out for the debuts. One might have Luca Guadagnino‘s ‘Challengers’ to thank for that.

There was no lack of support and cheers from the audiences’ side. Some of the celebrities who were present were Tom Cruise, Gerard Butler, Zendaya, Hugh Jackman, Kate Beckinsale, so on and so forth.

The ticket sales for this year had been off the charts, especially for the Novak Djokovic vs Carlos Alcaraz showdown which was the last match of the tournament. However, the regular ticket prices too were recorded off the charts with the lowest price being $10,000.

Nonetheless, this upsetting news did not deter the fans from following the last day of the match. The Novak Djokovic vs Carlos Alcaraz final kept everybody on their toes considering the high stakes for both the players involved. Now four-time major winner, Alcaraz overpowered this epic match making himself the youngest to claim both Wimbledon and French Open titles in a single year.

Star-Serve at Wimbledon 2024

This year’s Wimbledon is giving an insanely fair competition to the Met. From Bollywood celebrities to British Royalty, the supporters were a diverse crowd. Good two weeks of glamour for the fans as the celebrities walked in with their outfit game strong!

The Princess of Wales made her appearance along with Princess Charlotte and her sister, Pippa Middleton. The Princess also congratulated Carlos Alcaraz by giving him the trophy.

Julia Roberts came in prepared wearing a white Gucci dress with sporty stripes on the side. She was spotted with husband Daniel Moder. Vick Hope, TV and radio presenter embodied chic as she came on day twelve wearing a brown co-ord set with a matching jacket.

As far as staples go, Ralph Lauren blazers were recurringly seen, and no one was complaining. With Tom Hiddleston in blue, Glenn Close in a tailored cream, Andrew Garfield in navy, Robin Wright in a classic pinstripe and Zendaya with a white with a blue striped shirt, Tennis fashion has been changed completely as of late.

Meanwhile some celebs, such as the likes of Nicola Coughlan, Sophie Hunter, Benedict Cumberbatch, Naomi Ackie, Emma D’Arcy, combined comfort and fashion and absolutely aced it.
